Worship Ministry

 Making His Praises Glorious

Shout for joy is to God, all the earth; sing the glory of His name; give to Him glorious praise! Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is Your power that Your enemies come cringing to You. All the earth worships You and sings praises to You; they song praises to Your name" (Psalm 66:1–4).

Worship is a powerful privilege and the calling of every believer. To know the Lord is to worship Him, love Him, and serve Him. Our worship together should be the overflow of those expressions in our personal lives. As we live our lives for the Lord, we understand His grace better and better. That leads us to closer fellowship with Him, and richer praise, adoration, and worship. Then, when we come together in corporate worship, the room is filled with people just like us who can’t wait to fill the place with praise and worship of our gracious God. At Bethel, worship is not about our performance or a show. It’s not about the team or choir. It’s about the Lord, and it’s about all of us doing something together. That something is giving to our God glorious praise! When God is glorified in our lives and our praise, His promise is that He will be enthroned on those praises.

Our worship ministry teams are always seeking others to help us in this important area. You can be involved with us from the platform or from several places behind the scenes. Here are a few of the opportunities:

Vocal Team: Singers who help lead our congregation in worship are a vital part of our Sunday services. We need soprano, alto, and tenor musicians.
Technical Team: We have opportunities in audio, video, lighting, projection, computers, and more. We will provide all the training you need.
Instrumental Team: Our band consists of keyboards, cello, flute, saxophone, guitars, drums & percussion, and any other instrument that you play. They rehearse on Wednesdays, 6–6:40 p.m.
Choir: Each fall through spring our choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings (6:45–7:30 p.m.) to provide ministry music in our Sunday morning worship services. If you love to sing, come join this group. You will find ministry and fellowship opportunities.
