- A disciple is a committed follower or learner. Jesus commands the church to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). The mission of the adult ministries at Bethel Baptist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who grow in their walk with Jesus Christ and are committed to making disciples themselves. This mission is accomplished largely in and through adult small groups.
Adult small groups meet weekly and are a place where people connect with God and with each other. The adult small groups provide an environment where transformation occurs and people grow in their walk with Jesus Christ. Adult small groups are a place where the Bible is taught and discussed, prayer is a priority, meaningful and supportive relationships are formed, and emphasis is given to reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ongoing small groups meet on Sunday mornings at Bethel at the following times: 9:00 a.m., and 10:30 p.m. There are men’s, women’s, and co-ed groups available on Sunday mornings. There are groups with those in your own life stage and multigenerational groups available on Sunday mornings. There are also short-term small groups that meet mid-week and off-campus.
Times and locations for the groups are on brochures in the foyer and on this website. To join a group, simply attend that group and let the leader know you’d like to join. Get connected and join an adult small group at Bethel Baptist Church. We look forward to having you be a part of one or more of these transformational groups.
